I recently enjoyed a peaceful stay at Hotel Avra, and I must say, the culinary experience stood out. The buffet-style Mediterranean breakfast was a daily highlight, featuring everything from freshly baked traditional pies to homemade cakes that reminded me of Sunday mornings back in Cork. With a selection that changed daily, it was easy to indulge in local flavors-think fresh orange juice, savory omelettes, and various cereals that would please any palate. the lovely terrace overlooking the waves made for a picturesque backdrop. The restaurant's commitment to using fresh ingredients was evident, particularly in their seafood dishes. I tried the catch of the day, which was cooked to perfection. Each meal celebrated Greek traditions and showcased the area's bounty. All in all, Hotel Avra provided a tranquil retreat paired with exceptional dining. I look forward to returning and encouraging fellow food enthusiasts to explore this hidden gem.
